We believe in:
The Bible is the infallible, incorruptible Word of God through which a Christian knows the mind(will) of God for him. Being superior to conscience and reason, a Christian can and will always by it reason aright.
There is only one true God (Deut.6:4-6) revealed as the eternally self-existent and self-sufficient “I AM”; but manifested in Three Persons : the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit(Matt.28:19); being co-equal (Phil.2:6-11; Isa. 43: 10-13).
Jesus by saying He will be where two or three are gathered together in His name divinely instituted the standard for the gathering to be called as the ‘Church’ or House of the Living God, the Pillar and Ground of the Truth, The Temple of the Holy Spirit .
Man, His Fall and Redemption
Man is a created being, made good and upright in the likeness and image of God but who, through Adam’s transgression and fall, by which means sin came into the world, is born in sin. Man’s only hope of redemption is in Jesus Christ.
Repentance unto God
Repentance (toward God, not man) is Man’s godly sorrow for his sins and with a decision to ‘… sin no more. It is man’s first step to towards Salvation. It is not to be regretted, for by it man receives healing and pardon.
Salvation is God’s greatest gift to man. It is separate from and not of works, neither the Law and is only in and through Jesus Christ the Son of God.
New Birth and Eternal Life
The New Birth (New Creation) experience is a necessity for all men in order to receive the right to become a son of God. It is the inward evidence of Salvation and the appearance of God’s Grace to man whereby he is cleansed, absolved from all sin and made “ able to stand before God as though he had never sinned.
Baptism in water by immersion is a direct commandment of our Lord (Matth.28:19; Mk.16:16; Jn.3:5; Acts 2:38). It is for Believers only as a mark of repentance, “fulfilling all righteousness.”
Holy Ghost Baptism
This is the Baptism in the Holy Ghost and Fire (Matth. 3:11); “…The Promise of the Father…” (Lk.24:29; Acts 1:4, 8); an in-filling and gift of God which the Lord promised each believer in our times would receive sequel to the new birth.
Sanctification is yet another Grace of God by which the believer having been regenerated by the Holy Spirit, and now has the mind of Christ’, is completely cleansed having his conscience purged of sin by the Blood of Jesus; and by being obedient to the Word and by the Holy Ghost power sets himself apart for the Lord, and for His use by presenting his body a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to the Lord.
Is a Sacrament which Jesus instituted (Lk.22:19; Mk.14:22) and commanded that every true believer / disciple must partake of. This we should do often to keep us in remembrance that Christ died for us and shed His Blood for the remission of our sins.
The Lord Jesus Christ left us a Divine Assignment to “Go … into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature … ” with a “Great Commission” to manifest His glory of signs and wonders and divine backing saying “Lo, I am with you always to the end of the age.” This ministry is to evangelize the world and edify the body of Christ. (Eph. 4:11 -13; Mark 16:15 – 20)
Resurrection of the Just and the Return of Our Lord
Jesus Christ shall return in great Glory and Power (Lk.21:27); just as He was seen ascending up to heaven (Matth.24:44; Acts1:11). His Coming is at hand (Heb.10:25; Rev.22:12).
The Millennial Reign of Christ
Following the Tribulation, Jesus Christ, as King of kings and Lord of lords, would set up His Kingdom here on earth to reign for one thousand years; together with His Saints who shall be kings and priests.
Hell and Eternal Punishment
Jesus in John 5:28-29 said clearly : “…for the hour is coming in which all … will come forth – those who have done good, to the resurrection of Life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation.”
The New Heavens and the New Earth
We according to His promise, look for the new heavens and the new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness.
